First up! We've got the specialty of being the best brewery in Delaware. The Dogfish Head Distillery always offers its Barrel Honey Hot Toddy during winter. The Barrel Honey Hot Toddy contains Barrel Honey Rum, tea, fresh lemon juice, honey, and a cinnamon stick.

 To make a cup of hot tea, stir in 1 ounce each of fresh lemon juice and Barrel Honey Rum. Once you have dissolved them completely, stir in one tablespoon of honey. Stir in a cinnamon stick and savor the flavor. Yum!

 

2. Compelling Gin and Cider

Another Dogfish favorite! The compelling Gin & Cider also makes its rounds as one of their most popular winter cocktails, along with the Barrel Honey Hot Toddy.

 Ice a Collins glass, and then add equal parts gin and cider. Mix well, then serve with apple slices and cinnamon for garnish. Mix one pint (16 ounces) of compelling gin and one pint (16 ounces) of cider in a large pitcher to prepare cocktails for four people.

 

3. Silver Screen White Russian

The distillery known as Painted Stave can be found near Smyrna and produces premium spirits in limited quantities. And what about their signature winter drink? The Silver Screen, White Russian

 This warm beverage is made with 1 1/2 ounces of Silver Screen vodka, 1/2 ounce of coffee liqueur, 1/2 ounce of simple syrup, and 1/2 ounce of light cream. Put all the ingredients in a rocks glass with no ice except light cream. After adding ice, top the drink with some light cream. Add chocolate shavings as a garnish, and then dig in!

 

4. Saint Saffron

Beach Time Distilling is located in Lewes, Delaware, and they are known for their tropical drinks in the summer. But they don't pass up winter; they offer two signature winter cocktails for you to enjoy.

 A Saint Saffron cocktail is made with a slice of lemon, 1.5 ounces of saffron gin, 0.75 ounces of Saint Germain elderflower liqueur, and seltzer water. This is the way they do it: In a glass full of ice, mix Saffron Gin and Saint Germaine. After that, add seltzer water and stir it around. Squeeze the lemon slice, and then whisk the mixture if you want. As a finishing touch, add a slice of lemon to the dish.

 

5. Tsunami

The second winter cocktail signature offered by Beach Time is closing off this list. As the name implies, Tsunami will hit you and your senses like a tidal wave as you savor this drink.

The Tsunami is made with Beach Time Distilling's Beach Plum Rum, Ginger Ale, and a splash of fresh lime juice. First, muddle together 1/8 of a lime and 1 1/2 ounces of Beach Plum Rum. Then, fill the glass with ice. Add ginger ale and stir.
