2. Alapocas Wood Trail

Beware of rocks, though. Because this is a REAL mountain bike trail. And definitely go off-road! You must venture off route to see the enormous boulder stream, the Brandywine Zoo waterfall, and the top of the Alapocas rock formation to fulfill your cravings for off-road adventure. The track, however, is always visible from the surroundings, so you should be OK. Overall, the route was fantastic (although it might have used a few more signs and marks).

3. Swamp Forest Trail

Next up is the rocky Swamp Forest Trail. As the name suggests, the Trail winds through wetland woodlands on the border of Lums Pond in the park's center. You’ll cross various bridges and boardwalk sections along the trip, which is truly an exhilarating experience. 

The Swamp Forest trail is great to ride around, and it includes a lot of entertaining areas. If you enjoy biking, there are enough difficulties to keep you going. Ride over roots, logs, little leaps, and other small challenges to satisfy your adventurous heart.

4. Brandywine Creek River Loop

Another great trail is the highly reviewed Brandywine Creek River Loop. The path is a 7.7-kilometer circular path in Wilmington, Delaware, which typically takes about 1 hour and 37 minutes to accomplish this reasonably tricky course.

Brandywine Creek River Loop is known for its meadowland vistas and blue gneiss stone walls constructed in the late 1800s and early 1900s. The trail is visible in the middle of a remnant old-growth forest. Also, chipmunks are frequently found near the trail’s stone walls, which were used to delineate property limits when the region was rich in agriculture.
