First on our list is the excellent Mr. Peppers Pumpkin Patch in Wilmington. Visitors to Mr. Peppers Pumpkin Patch can get lost in the two-acre corn maze or take a lovely hayride through the fields. Open till October 31, this adorable pumpkin patch has been bringing fall feelings to the First State since 1989, with over 12 varieties of pumpkins to select from.

There are so many things to love about Mr. Peppers Pumpkin Patch. You can find a Corn Trivia Maze, Hay Maze, and Spookley Sorghum Maze. You can also let your kids play in the Farm Yard Playground and see animals. And lastly, you can start participating in pumpkin painting. 

2. Filasky's Produce and Farm Market

Next on our list is the family farm in Middletown called Filasky’s Produce and Farm Market. Residents may harvest their pumpkins every Saturday at Filasky's Produce and Farm Market. Delawareans may enjoy meandering through a soybean maze and riding hayrides through the fields.

Locals can even enjoy feasting on delectable pumpkin doughnuts prepared by Beth's Bread and ice cream from Woodside Farms Creamery until the end of October. Guests may enjoy a chilly evening with a midnight hayride and a blazing campfire until early November.

3. Fifer Orchards

Third, on our list is the Wyoming gem called Fifer Orchards. Delawareans may bring their children to Fifer Orchards' six-acre corn maze and choose their pumpkins and fruit throughout October. On the other hand, the farm is not provided with wagons, so bring your own. 

In addition, Fifer's Fresh Eats & the Farm Store serves a great lunch. Soups, salads, sandwiches, pizza, and more items are available. However, certain autumn activities, such as apple harvesting, are only accessible on Saturdays. 

4. Thousand Acre Farm

The fourth in our rundown is the Thousand Acre Farm, one of the most remarkable things Middletown has to offer the local community. From Labor Day until October, visitors may select from more than nine varieties of apples at this farm, which also serves as a rustic wedding site. 

This family-run wedding venue boasts an orchard with dwarf trees (smaller trees closer to the ground) for easy pickings. Truly a great place in Delaware to pick pumpkins and apples!

5. Kranz Hill Farm

And closing our list is the Kranz Hill Farm located in Newark. This Newark farmers market began selling solely what they farm-raised in 2010. Still, it now specializes in high-quality local items, including fruits, vegetables, meat, cheese, eggs, honey, and more. 

In the fall, the market sells a wide variety of pumpkins, ranging from white pumpkins and kabocha to knucklehead pumpkins and much more. If you want many pumpkin and apple picking options, Kranz Hill Farm is the best place for you.
